Molly and I spent 4 months in Whittier, NC, living and working with local business owners, I highly recommend a winter vacation in this area. [LINK]
Whittier is located at the southern entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains. [LINK]
It is a very small village and just a few miles from Harrods Casino in Cherokee NC and joins the Cherokee Indian Reservation [LINK]

We love Bryson City. It's like taking a step back in time. The
shop owners and locals are some of the most friendliest of any
town we have ever visited. Can't wait to go back with our
Grandson in a few weeks. Thanks for posting!
